The IBA is in the midst of our 2020 Membership drive and it's time to renew your membership. You can renew your membership online by going to https://squareup.com/store/indepba
Renewing your membership helps the IBA to continue to serve the community and promote your business, as well as help with all the events that we organize in Independence. Our incoming President Mike Dominach has some exciting changes and events planned for the coming year and it is a great time to be a member.
Membership fee is only $125 for businesses and individuals that are within Independence, and $150 for those outside that. Remember that this fee not only helps fund the event we have, it also recognizes your company in all the advertising that we do – like the Christmas Walk and Fourth of July Celebration bench signs, and on the backs of t-shirts that make for the Spring Cleanup and the 4th of July.
Also we would encourage you to spread the word about the IBA and our mission of supporting the community by encouraging other business to join us.
Join us for a Springtime Clean-up of Independence
The IBA is organizing a clean-up of Independence focusing on Kroger Plaza. The first 25 people that sign up will get a free t-shirt and everyone will get free pizza after the clean up.
Everyone will meet at the shelter in Memorial Park at 10am on Saturday April 25th to get their trash bags and vinyl gloves. After completing the clean up we will meet back at the shelter for the pizza party. We will also be signing community service hours for any student that needs it.
If you have any questions about this event you can email firstname.lastname@example.org or call Doug Andrews @ 859-356-8100
RAIN DATE: If there is inclement weather the cleanup will be moved to the next day Sunday April 26th from 10:00am until Noon
There will be a Health and Wellness Fair in conjunction with the Spring Clean Up on April 25! The Health and Wellness Fair is a free event at the Senior and Community Center in Independence.
